The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is a large national survey designed to collect nationally representative data about the extent to which students are participating in educationally purposeful activities, both inside and outside the classroom. IU-Indianapolis participates in NSSE every three years along with every campus in the Indiana University system. IU-Indianapolis has been involved in NSSE from the time that the survey was first developed in 2002. Currently, staff in Institutional Research and Decision Support coordinate the collection of NSSE data at the Indianapolis campus of IU.
If you need access to older reports or have any questions about NSSE, please contact Bridgett Milner, Director of Institutional Effectiveness, at bharsh@iu.edu.
