The ACHA-National College Health Assessment (NCHA) informs decision makers about IUPUI students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions in order to enhance campus wide health promotion and prevention services. Topics include alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs; sexual health; weight, nutrition, and exercise; mental health; personal safety and violence; and impact on academic success. The national survey is administered by the American College Health Association, and implemented locally by Health and Wellness Promotion in the Division of Student Affairs. Results are used to determine areas of need, with a focus on student health, safety, and support.
